n one race a month for a year, turned into achieving the goal of a lifetime when Ritzville Library Director Kylie Fullmer crossed the finish line in Woodland at the Blooms to Brews marathon on April 12.
Her chip time recorded her at 3:31.52, three minutes under the maximum qualifying time for the Boston Marathon.
When the race was complete, Fullmer finished 18th out of 142 marathon runners at the event. She also received a medal for finishing first in her age division of 24-29 years old. She finished fourth out of 88 female racers at the event.
