Arbor Day events slated for April 24 in Ritzville

The Ritzville Tree Board invites community members to celebrate Arbor Day at the Ritzville Golf Course Friday, April 24, at 10 a.m.

Festivities will include presentation of the colors by Boy Scout Troup 888, an Arbor Day Proclamation by Mayor Kadlec, and an award presentation for outstanding contributor of the year by Michael Schrag, chairman of the tree board.The event also includes the presentation of the Tree City USA plaque to Ritzville by Garth Davis representing the Washington State Conservation Districts.
