2015 candidate filing period opens in May

The Adams County Auditor’s Office will be accepting filings for local offices beginning Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 15.

Open positions include commissioner positions for Othello, Council positions for Lind, Othello, Ritzville and Washtucna with position of mayor open in Ritzville and Washtucna.

School director positions open in Benge, Washtucna, Othello, Lind and Ritzville, as well as multiple positions throughout the fire districts and Park and Recreation districts.

The entire list of open positions, terms and applicable filing fees will be available online at http://www.co.adams.wa.us.

Filing fees are collected at the time of filing and are non-refundable.

Filing will be accepted daily during filing week at the Adams County Auditors Office located at 210 W. Broadway Ave. Ste 200 in Ritzville from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or online at http://www.co.adams.wa.us. beginning at 8:30 a.m. on May 11 and remain open continuously until 4 p.m. on May 15.

Online submissions of Declarations of Candidacy must be completed no later that 4 p.m. on Friday, May 15. The Adams County Auditor’s Office will accept in person filing until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 15.
