Broncos girls track team places third at Deer Park Invite

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague track and field team competed in the Deer Park Invitational on April 3.

The Broncos’ girls track team returned home with a third place finish, earning 73.1 points during the meet.

The girls were led to their third place finish by Tracy Melville, who earned top placements in the 1,600-meter and the 3,200-meter distance races during the meet.

She also finished in sixth place in the 800-meter race.

Heidi Hennings also added points for the Broncos by placing second in pole vault.

The Broncos’ boys team finished in 14th place with 11 points.
