Book club dates announced

The book club meeting dates for the upcoming month have been announced for four local clubs.

The Book to Movie Book Club is meeting on Wednesday, April 1, at 6 p.m. at the Ritz Theatre. The club is reading, “The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak.

The book club is open to all ages, but especially for teenagers. The teens attending the movie are encouraged to read the book prior to watching the movie on the big screen for free.

The Liquid Lit Book Club is meeting on Friday, March 13, at 6 p.m. at Memories Diner. The club is for individuals 21 and older who are interested in pairing classic books with classic drinks. The club is reading, “The Catcher in the Rye” by JD Salinger.

The Page Turners Book Club is for children between the ages of eight and 12. The club is reading, “A Tangle of Knots” by Lisa Graff, and meeting on Wednesday, March 11, at 4 p.m. in the library basement.

The Ritzville Public Library Book Club is meeting on Thursday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. in the library basement. The book for the month is “The Aviator’s Wife” by Melanie Benjamin.

Extra copies of each book title are available at the Ritzville Library. The book clubs are open to the public.
