Presidents’ Day

In the long stretch of monotony that occurs during the daily grind of winter, weekends blow by with disproportional speed. Schools and federally operated businesses find themselves with an extra day mid-February, in observance of some of our nation’s great leaders.

There will be no school on Monday, February 16, in honor of Presidents’ Day.

While a conveniently timed break, Presidents’ Day is a celebration of feats achieved by American leaders Washington and Lincoln.
