Senior Center looking for volunteers

The H.E. Gritman senior center is gearing up for 2015.

The center is looking for one or two individuals who are interested in cooking one to three days each week. Volunteers are also needed to serve breakfast, lunches, do janitorial work, expand center programs and work at Second Harvest on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Interested individuals should call 659-1289 or 659-0292.

The center serves pancake breakfasts on the second Friday of each month, lunches three times a week, a monthly potluck, fundraisers and community events.

Dues are not required to take part in these events.

In the last week of January the senior center will have a full schedule with lunches available on the 26 and 28 at noon.

On the 27 help is needed to unload the Second Harvest truck and to set up distribution to the public.

Dues of $10 are due for the 2015-year; these funds help with operating expenses and the use of the facility.

On Friday, Jan. 30, the center is holding a potluck and its annual meeting.
