Ritz Roadhouse hosting spaghetti feed fundraiser

On Jan. 10, The Ritz Roadhouse is inviting community members to join with them in supporting Karson Cornwell and his family with a spaghetti feed. The Cornwell’s are a Corbert family who are currently struggling to raise money for stem cell therapy for young Karson.

Six-year-old Karson suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and his family has been raising money to help pay for an experimental medical treatment that may cure him.

The family is currently $10,000 short of their $40,000 fundraising goal.

The Ritz Roadhouse Manager Shelley Martin said she was touched by the story and wanted to lend a helping hand. She quickly coordinated the spaghetti feed for Saturday, and invited the Cornwells to attend.

His family and friends will be traveling to Ritzville for the event. The feed begins at 4 p.m. and will be open until the restaurant closes, and all are invited to attend.

Martin also extends the fundraising offer to local families who are in need of assistance, whether to help with medical costs or other circumstances that have hindered the family financially. Martin said the restaurant wants to help those in need and for them to be aware of the opportunity in Ritzville.

The Ritz Roadhouse is located at 1604 South Smitty’s Boulevard.
