Lind Town Council concludes 2014 business

The Lind Town Council met to settle the last of the 2014 business on Tuesday, Dec. 23. During the meeting, council members also received an engineering update for Alan Gay of Stantec.

He reported the town has a successful bid opening for the Lind Well Rehabilitation Project and he recommended awarding the contract to Shannon Industrial Contractors, Inc. out of Coeur d’Alene who had the lowest bid of $354,783.80.

The bid covered the removal of the existing Well Seven pump and well column, the installation of a new pump with an additional 100 feet of well column and the inspection of Well Six.
