LRS Broncos have a difficult start in first league game

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos got their season off to a rough start after losing to the Medical Lake Cardinals, 68-52, and then to their first league opponent Liberty, 67-40, during the first week of basketball.

During the Medical Lake game number three for the Cardinals, Cory Wagner, put up 31 points against the Broncos and made five out of five three point attempts during the game.

“I don’t think any of them he was wide open, but they were all contested and the last couple were pretty contested…” head coach Dustan Arlt said. “We caught him on a wrong night.”
