Williamson qualifies for state

TUMWATER — At least Lind-Ritzville/Sprague golfer will compete for a state title this week.

Lance Williamson placed eighth in the district golf tournament Wednesday, May 2, at Meadowwood Golf Course in Liberty Lake.

Williamson will play again May 21-22 at Tumwater Valley Golf Club, 4611 S.E. Tumwater Valley Drive, Tumwater, in the 1B/2B state boys and girls golf championships.

And with a little luck, he won’t be the lone Bronco on the course.

Beau Fode finished 18th at districts, good enough to earn a state-alternate designation.
