LWK volleyball concludes league play with win

The Lady Tigercats had a busy week as they concluded league competition on Oct. 28 against St. John-Endicott. The LWK team faced a loss to Pomeroy, before bouncing back to earn wins over SJE and Liberty Christian.

In the Pomeroy match, head coach Sandy Martin said the team knew the Lady Pirates were a strong team and the Lady Tigercats did not go into the game with the right mentality.

Martin said the team had good moments, but did not have enough to be competitive. The LWK lost the match 14-25, 6-25, 13-25.
