Caring Neighbors donates to Adams County Pet Rescue

Caring Neighbors recently donated $1,400 to the Adams County Pet Rescue.

The money will be used for a spay/neuter clinic allowing low income and elderly pet owners the opportunity to prevent population growth and decreasing the spread of canine disease.

This grant allows for a licensed veterinarian to perform surgery, clinic supplies and staff assistance for anesthesia and post-op recovery.

Caring Neighbors is a nonprofit entity established by Big Bend Electric Co-op. The Big Bend Electric Co-op members have donated the funds for Caring Neighbors.
