Campaign sign removal is unprofessional

I have to say how very disappointed I am with certain individuals in our community that feel the need to remove and destroy campaign signs that are posted on private property or anywhere for that matter. I have heard it is illegal to destroy or remove campaign signs, unless you are the one who posted them or are the candidate.

I am personally offended that the sign I had in my own yard, supporting the candidate of my choice, was removed during the afternoon of Thursday, Aug. 28, while I was out at the Wheat Land Communities’ Fair. It is my right to post a sign, for any candidate that I support, without wondering if it will be there when I come home.

I had hoped that our community would be above this kind of petty, underhanded style of campaigning. But it seems there are those kind among us and that makes us no better than those we see in other campaign races in out world.

So, whoever removed my sign, I am sorry you felt the need to do this. But I will still be voting to re-elect Judge Adalia Hille, my candidate of choice for Adams County District Court Judge!
