Caring Neighbors donates to the Ritzville Library

The Caring Neighbors board recently donated $600 to the Ritzville Library District No. 2. The library staff members are planning to start a “1,000 Books Before Kindergarten” program to promote early literacy in this area.

The donated money will be used to purchase 50 books, CDs and book bags.

Caring Neighbors is a nonprofit entity established by Big Bend Electric Co-op. Big Bend Electric Co-op members have donated the Caring Neighbors funding.
