Pasta for the Palouse fundraiser for plaque

The Rimrock Grange is sponsoring Pasta for Palouse Spaghetti Feed on Sunday, April 27, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Rimrock Grange Hall. The meal is provided by donation, and all donations are collected at the door.

The money raised at the event is for the purchase of a kiosk or a plaque to place at Palouse Falls, honoring the Washtucna School students who were instrumental in designating the falls as the state’s waterfall.

It is reported donations from Grange members from across the country have already contributed to the fund to support the project. The spaghetti feed is being used to kick start the fundraising efforts, and there are plans to hold other fundraisers in the future.

State representatives and legislators have been invited to attend the event, and Senator Mark Schoesler has already announced his plans to attend. Grange members from across the state have also been invited to the fundraiser.

Any individual interested in donating to the fund can send donations to Buck Jessop at 705 Spokane Street, Washtucna 99371.
