Margaret Johnson

Margaret Johnson died from a heart attack on March 22 at the Royal Columbian assisted care facility in Kennewick at the age of 88. She was a loving mother, wife, sibling and a true friend to many.

Margaret was born on Nov. 11, 1925, to Fred and Alvina Meise in Quincy, Ill. Margaret graduated from Washtucna High School in 1944.

Shorty after she went to work for the telephone company and after 37 years of service, retired in 1988. Margaret spent almost as many years retired as working and visited all 50 states, walking many as a member of the Tri-City Windwalkers, and generally never stopped goi...
