4-H’s Birds of Play hosts meeting

Birds of Play 4-H club held a GPS meeting on Friday, Nov. 29, in Washtucna. The club had coordinates for five geocaches and followed the first one to Eternal Rest, Bemis Cemetery.

Jake Sitton was able to tell us more about the early days of the cemetery. After locating the geocache and signing it we headed for the next one. We found Limbow, Cupid’s Cousin and Shoveling Wheat Seed. Then we went to the German Methodist Cemetery and found the geocache hidden there.
