Nov. 30, 9:28 a.m. – Washington State Patrol advised of a collision on North Highway 395 at Milepost 95. The complainant further advised a WSP trooper had been involved in the collision. Sergeant Brian Taylor responded to the area to assist, and assisted with traffic control.

Nov. 30, 10:36 a.m. – Lind complainant requested contact during the daylight hours in reference to five vehicles that need hulk vehicle forms. Complainant requested phone call before someone driving to the location. Sergeant Taylor responded and verified six hulk vehicles.

Nov. 29, 11:31 a.m. – Spokane Valley complainant advised of being out of gas and requested assistance. Deputy Jeffrey Lane responded and was provided with a gas voucher.

Nov. 26, 12:55 p.m. – Lind complainant requested standby while retrieving her children from the paternal grandparents. Sergeant Taylor stood by to insure the peace.

Nov. 26, 9:27 p.m. – Ritzville complainant reported a juvenile was under the influence of narcotics and at some point a window was broken on North Rand Lane. Deputy Lane responded and determined no crime had been committed, and the complainant would take the juvenile to the hospital in the morning.

Nov. 26, 11:42 a.m. – Lind complainant recently moved out of a house on East Fifth in Lind and advised the owners of the home will not allow him to retrieve his belongings from the home. Sergeant Taylor attempted contact at the home and there was no answer at the door. Deputy Lane contacted both parties and arranged that the complainant would retrieve his belongings on Nov. 27.

Nov. 26, 6:58 a.m. – Lind complainant contacted Sergeant Taylor about a concern her husband would take the children from the county. The children were currently at the paternal grandparents residence where her husband is residing during the separation. Taylor advised the complainant to contact the courts first thing in the morning. She was also provided with New Hope information. Taylor later learned New Hope would not assist because it was not a domestic violence situation and also learned the children did not have passports.

Nov. 25, 10:06 p.m. – Lind complainant requested assistance with a custody matter at East Fourth Street. Deputy Lane responded.

Nov. 25, 2:34 p.m. – A hulk vehicle form was completed for a vehicle at East Sixth Street in Lind and Deputy Lane gave the form to the complainant.

Nov. 24, 10:36 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised his car broke down and has been left at North Paha-Packard Road. The complainant provided a vehicle description and advised it had been moved well-off the roadway, and will be moved the following day.

Nov. 23, 2:38 p.m. – An anonymous female complainant advised of subjects on North Cow Lake Road. Complainant was concerned because one of the subjects was walking on the ice. Deputy Ned Bernath contacted the subject who advised he had been walking on the ice. Bernath advised the subject of the complainants concern, but advised it was legal for him to do what he had been doing. The subject advised he understood. Bernath did not observe a legal issue or an over dangerous issue at the scene.

Nov. 23, 11:24 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised the vehicle he was sent to tow reference a vehicle fire was now missing its rims. Deputy Bernath contacted the owner and left a message advising of the theft.

Nov. 23, 3:31 a.m. – Ritzville complainant reported three subjects outside her home yelling, screaming and beating the side of the house on East Second Avenue. The subjects were trying to get a laptop from her. Deputy Jeff Lane contacted one of the subjects and he stated he was there earlier in the day, but was not there at the time the complainant stated. No other calls were received referencing yelling. Lane instructed the complainant to call back if additional help was needed.

Nov. 22, 10:09 p.m. –

Ritzville complainant reported a juvenile subject never rode the bus home. The complainant and Ritzville Police Chief David McCormick checked Ritzville but were unable to find him. Complainant advised Deputy Lane she would call if the juvenile returns. At 10:45 p.m., the juvenile entered WAIC/NCIC. On Nov. 24, the juvenile was removed from WAIC/NCIC per Lane. The juvenile was transported to his residence and turned over to the complainant. Lane completed a runaway juvenile survey.

Nov. 22, 3:18 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of items taken from North Neilson Avenue. Deputy Bernath responded.

Nov. 21, 8:18 p.m. – East Wenatchee complainant advised of a vehicle fire at West Schrag Road and North Batum Road. Deputy Bernath contacted the subject who advised they noticed smoke coming from the engine of her vehicle. The subject pulled off the roadway at the location. When Bernath arrived, the vehicle was fully engulfed. The subject advised they would make arrangements in the morning to have the vehicle removed. The subject’s mother arrived and transported the subject from the scene. A state collision report was filed.

Nov. 21, 7:09 a.m. – Pete’s Garage advised they were en route to a disabled semi on Paha-Packard south of I-90. No response was needed from the Sheriff’s Office.

Nov. 20, 11:59 p.m. – Hatton complainant advised of a vehicle driving through the area with loud music playing. Upon Deputy Brad Zook’s arrival in the area, no vehicles were located.

Nov. 20, 5:04 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a domestic dispute at East Fifth Street in Lind. Deputy Bernath arrived on scene and spoke with the subjects who advised no dispute had taken place and nothing was damaged. Both subjects advised they were just having an argument. The male subject advised he would be staying at another residence for the evening.

Nov. 20, 4:42 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of aggressive dogs at North I Street. Deputy Bernath arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant who advised a subject’s dogs were loose and acting aggressive. Bernath contacted the owner who advised he would do a better job to secure the dogs.

Nov. 19, 9:11 p.m. – Yacolt complainant reported two semis collided and a third vehicle was also struck. Deputy Lane responded and all of the damage was non-reportable for all the vehicles. The collision was on private property and the parties all exchanged insurance information.

Nov. 19, 11:26 a.m. – Ritzville complainant stated the lights were on in the home on West Main Avenue and North Van Vleet Road and there hasn’t been anyone residing in the home. Sergeant Taylor checked the home and all was secure. There was no indication anyone had been home recently.

Nov. 18, 4:11 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a vehicle driving around the city and county, and on near a residence on Bauer Road. The vehicle left when a female subject spotted them, and two males were in the vehicle. The complainant has seen the vehicle circling the residence and believes they may have been casing the service truck parked there.

Nov. 16, 8:51 a.m. – Deputy Bernath responded to the Adams County Jail to assist a female who fell in the shower. Bernath stood by with the subject at the hospital without incident.

Nov. 16, 8:28 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a domestic in progress on North Rand Lane. While en route to the call, Sergeant Ben Buriak was notified no assault had occurred but property damage was done. A juvenile female subject was later arrested for malicious mischief third degree domestic violence.

Nov. 16, 7:19 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of four mailboxes knocked over within the last 90 minutes. Sergeant Buriak checked the mailboxes and determined no damage was done, as the mailboxes were mounted on two wagon wheels and a board.

Buriak contacted the complainant who advised they wanted to sheriff’s office to merely be aware of the incident.

Nov. 16, 2:09 p.m. – Lind complainant advised for a domestic violence assault on North Hoefel Road in Ritzville. Deputy Bernath later arrested the listed subject on several felony charges.

Nov. 16, 2:06 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of a camp trailer parked at East Yeisley Road and South Wahl Road. Deputy Bernath checked the trailer, which appeared abandoned. The trailer did not have plates and the vin tags weathered.

Nov. 16, 9:03 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of finding what is believed to be a bindle of cocaine on North Highway 261. Deputy Bernath responded to the scene and spoke with the complainant.

Nov. 15, 6:06 p.m. – Kahlotus complainant advised of two large, white male sheep dogs missing for a day from South Cherry Lane in Washtucna. The complainant advised of the dogs, names, breeds and behaviors, and provided a cell phone number to be reached at if the dogs were scene in the area. The complainant believed the dogs were possibly heading south towards the Palouse River.

Nov. 15, 9:12 a.m. – Sergeant Taylor received a report from Washington State CPS of a seven-year-old male in Lind who had a scratch on his eye because his mother threw a show at him.

Nov. 13, 6:23 p.m. – Lind complainant requested contact with a female who is feeding garbage to the complainant’s horse on Neilson Road. The complainant does not know the female, but advised this is not the first time it happened. Deputy Bernath contacted the complainant and the location, and observed waffle cut and steak cut fries in with the horses.

Bernath made contact with the female subject who advised she had been feeding the horses because they were so skinny in the past. Bernath advised the subject the owner does not want her feeding the horses and the potential danger to the horses’ health of changing the horses diet. The subject advised she would not feed the horses anymore.

Nov. 13, 1:16 p.m. – Sergeant Taylor assisted Washington State Patrol with a semi-truck rollover accident on State Route 261 at Mile Post 41.

Nov. 13, 6:49 a.m. – Lind complainant advised of a traffic accident with potential injuries on West Lind-Warden Road.

The driver had been traveling west on Lind-Warden Road when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled. The driver appeared to have been ejected from the car and was transported to East Adams Rural Hospital.

Nov. 12, 10:40 p.m. – Lind complainant advised he believed someone was in his shop on East Lee Road, since a gas can was moved. The complainant replaced all items and called over two days later to report.

Nov. 12, 10:21 a.m. – Othello complainant contacted dispatch to report a road sign in the area of West Providence Road and North Roxboro Road had been damaged.

Deputy Darryl Barnes responded to the area and located the damage road sign.
