Wheat Growers to host annual meeting

The Adams County Wheat Growers are set to host the annual meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at the Fairway Café at the Ritzville Municipal Golf Course.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. with dinner service for those in attendance. Special guests for the evening are Senator Mark Schoesler, Washington Grain Commissioner Mike Miller and WAWG Director of Outreach and Affairs, Kara Rowe.

Topics to be discussed are the “Washington Grown” campaign, Farm Bill update, the annual convention in Spokane, Grain Inspection Labor Dispute, “Falling Numbers” dilemma and the upcoming AMMO program.
