Dorothy M. Clinesmith

Dorothy M. Clinesmith died at the age of 82 on Sept. 23 in Spokane.

She was born Oct. 20, 1930, to Jacob and Jennie Steiner in El Paso, Texas.

She graduated from Kahlotus High School in 1949, and then married Harold J. Clinesmith. Together they farmed wheat and cattle in Benge for 50 years, until they retired to Ritzville in 2003.

She was an active community member, involving herself in any event that was going on. She was an active member at the Benge Community Church for 50 years until retirement, when she eventually became a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Ritzville.
