City, RGA to replace aging golf course mowers

The city council voted unanimously to purchase two mowers for Ritzville Municipal golf course. Both are used, but in far better shape than the mowers currently being used at the local course.

Presenting a brief course update to the council, manager Dan Duff reported that the fairway mower is on its last legs. Public Works Director Larry Swift agreed with the assessment, stating that inadequate maintenance on the mower in previous years contributed to the machine’s demise.
