Deadline nears for fair royalty candidates applications

The deadline to submit an application for the 2013 Wheat Land Communities’ Fair Royalty court is Monday, April 8.

Interested applicants must be between 14-18 years old, live within the boundaries of the Lind, Ritzville and Washtucna school districts, currently enrolled in school and entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2013.

Three positions will be chosen, with the winners being announced at the fair’s annual Wampum event, slated for Saturday, April 27.

Applications are available at the Lind-Ritzville and Washtucna high schools.
