All For Amy fundraiser successful

More than 200 area community members purchased tickets and filled the Lind Grange Hall to capacity on Saturday, March 23, in an effort to support the Garcia family at the All For Amy dinner and auction. The dinner and auction fundraiser raised over $10,000 for the family.

The Garrett Bartley Band performed as individuals filled the hall and while the meal was served. After the meal, fundraiser coordinator Lori Olson recognized officer Ben Buriak and Neva Staley for their service to the family and efforts to save Amy.

The auction, with over 40 items donated, raised the majority of the funds from the evening’s event. The highest selling item was an autographed football signed by Drew Bledsoe that sold for $400.
