March 2, 1:12 p.m. –

Deputy Dan Verhey stopped a vehicle for speeding on East Hwy 26 near milepost 77. The driver came back suspended for unpaid tickets. Hope Elizabeth Seubert was arrested for drive while license suspended in the third degree.

March 1, 8:01 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of cows on the roadway at East Rosenoff Road and North Marcellus Road. Deputy Jeffrey Lane was unable to locate any cows out in the area.

Feb. 28, 1:26 p.m. – WSDOT advised the man door on the loader shed located on Hwy 21 just south of I-90 will not be repaired until March 1. The door was damaged during a burglary on Feb. 27. The complainant requests extra patrols until the repair.

Feb. 28, 1:19 p.m. – Spokane County Sheriff requested assistance in locating a subject involved in a suspicious circumstance on East Sprague Street in Washtucna. Deputy Lane responded to assist.

Feb. 28, 12:31 p.m. – RPD requested assistance on West Main Avenue with taking a subject into custody on a mental health pickup order. Deputy Lane responded and assisted as needed.

Feb. 28, 6:19 a.m. – Ritzville complainant reported a building located on Hwy 21 and I-90 had been broken into. Deputy Lane responded for the investigation.

Feb. 28, 2:06 a.m. – Ritzville Police Department’s Sergeant Mark Cameron requested assistance on East Sixth Avenue in Ritzville. Deputy Aaron Madison responded and contacted the complainant who advised they thought they heard someone in their home.

Feb. 28, 12:51 a.m. –

While on patrol, Deputy Madison located an unlocked and open gate on North I Street in Lind. Deputy Madison contacted the property owner who advised they must have forgot to shut and lock the gate. The owner further advised they would check the property in the morning for any missing items.

Feb. 27, 8:35 p.m. – Deputy Madison responded to an agency assist call requested by RPD Sergeant Cameron on East Alder Avenue in Ritzville.

Feb. 27, 8:47 a.m. – Ritzville complainant called to inquire about replacing destroyed vehicle tabs. Deputy Lane directed the complainant to the Auditor’s office for assistance.

Feb. 25, 3:10 p.m. – Sprague complainant called and advised of a suspicious female subject who has been in their store on North Durry Road all afternoon. Complainant stated the female has not done anything wrong, just waiting for a friend. Sergeant Stacy Flynn contacted the subject who advised they are on their way to Airway Heights to see a friend. The subject left the area eastbound on I-90.

Feb. 25, 1:47 p.m. – Information report from ACSO: a black F-150 pickup, unknown license plate is working in the area of North Durry Road. The subject is an independent contractor working for the local power company inspecting power poles.

Feb. 25, 9:16 a.m. – Lind complainant reported several batteries were stolen at an unknown time on East 2nd Street. Deputy Lane contacted the complainant to file the report.

Feb. 25, 9:02 a.m. – Lind complainant reported semis traveling on the weight restricted portion of North Deal Road between I-90 and Rosenoff Road. The semis traveling between the spud shed on Deal and Heineman and I-90 are okay to travel on the road. Deputy Lane was unable to locate any semis on the roadway.

Feb. 25, 8:20 a.m. – Lind complainant reported their back door was kicked in between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. while they slept. Deputy Lane contacted the complainant on West 3rd Street, to complete the report.

Feb. 24, 7:35 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a subject wearing dark clothing walking westbound near North Ziemer Road and Danekas Road. Deputy Madison contacted the subject who advised they were walking home from Sprague. Dep. Madison transported the subject into Ritzville.

Feb. 24, 5:34 p.m. – Odessa complainant reported a white Ford Expedition with no license plate parked north of Rosenoff Road on Schoonover Road. Sergeant Flynn drove through the area and was unable to locate the described vehicle. While in the area the complainant called back and advised the vehicle had left.

Feb. 24, 4:14 p.m. – Lind complainant called and advised they had been having an argument on the phone with their spouse, and the spouse threatened to burn all of the complainants belonging before they arrived home. Sergeant Flynn made contact at the residence with the spouse who advised the complainant was being dramatic and causing problems. The spouse wants the complainant out of the house. The complainant arrived and removed their belongings without incident.

Feb. 24, 2:04 p.m. – Complainant from Shoreline reported their rental property on North S Street in Lind had been broken into. Deputy Verhey arrived on scene and found the back door lock had been broken. The complainant advised nothing was missing after Deputy Verhey advised them on the items that were in the house. Complainant will be at the property on Feb. 26. Complainant requests extra patrols on the property, as no one should be there.

Feb. 24, 1:31 p.m. – Complainant from Ephrata reported the theft of two gate valves from the area of North Lind-Hatton Road. Complainant advised the theft took place some time over a weeks time. Complainant requested extra patrols in the area.

Feb. 24, 1:02 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a suspicious vehicle and subject were observed traveling very slow in the area of North Dewald Road. The vehicle was observed turning north on 395. WSP was contacted and Trooper Herrington stopped the vehicle at Hwy 395 and I-90. Deputy Verhey arrived on scene and found a female subject with possible mental health issues. No crimes were committed and the subject was released.

Feb. 24, 11:15 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised a suspicious vehicle was parked in the area of West First Avenue for an extended amount of time with the motor running. It is believed someone is in the sleeper area of the truck. Deputy Verhey made contact with the driver and was advised the driver was sick and sleeping it off. No medical issue was found.
