Water Park needs employees for summer operation

Adams County Parks and Recreation District No. 4 is in need of summer employees for the Ritzville Water Park.

Without enough employees the water park may not be able to operate this summer.

The water park is in need of a manager, an individual who is motivated to make a positive, professional impact at the pool, both with the lifeguards and with the patrons.

The manager position is for anyone 18 years of age or older, requires the ability to work well with others and handle the day-to-day operations of the pool.

Lifeguard training and CPR certification is not required prior to applying for the position, as training will be provided.

The water park is also in need of lifeguards. Currently the district has only received enough applications to fill approximately half of the needed positions to successfully run the pool. Working at the pool is a great opportunity for young people.

Competitive wages are offered for both positions, with pay dependent on experience.

Anyone interested in a position at the pool can obtain application materials online at http://www.co.adams.wa.us, by following the “Employment” link.

Additional applications may also be picked up at the Ritzville Public Library.
