Friends of the Library book sale this weekend

The Friends of the Ritzville Library are set to host the annual Book Sale this weekend running March 14-16.

Thursday begins the members only sale from 3-5 p.m. Non-members are able to join at the door for a $10 membership fee. Friday through Saturday is the public sale. Friday hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday hours are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. While browsing books, guests have the opportunity to purchase $1 raffle tickets to win a Kindle Fire.

Also on Friday, at 5 p.m., authors Ryan and Kara Rowe will be present for a book signing, promoting their book, “Washington’s Wheat Life; The Art of Scratching Dirt.”

A new addition this year is a three-day silent auction featuring furniture pieces from the library. The library is located at 302 West Main Avenue in historic downtown Ritzville.
