Art gallery benefit features Horse Crazy band

The Ritzville Art Gallery is hosting a benefit on Saturday, March 16, beginning at 7 p.m. at the gallery. All ages are welcome to attend and admission to the event is set at $10, with refreshments and beverages being served by donation.

All artwork displayed in the gallery is for sale and the proceeds raised at the event directly benefit the Ritzville Western Art Show. Cowgirl band Horse Crazy and Judy Coder are performing live at the event.

The Horse Crazy duo kicks off the evening’s festivities with a musical style that combines original sounds with new compositions of western style melodies. Coder’s unique style adds a different flavor for a wider audience.

During intermissions, a spring barbed wire wreath created by Ritzville Rodeo Queen, Heidi Hennings, will be auctioned. The wreath “Barbed Wire Rides Again” is created out of recycled items from the farm.

In addition, the Ritzville Western Art Show will hold a one-night only special on selected western art pieces to benefit the 2013 event.

The Ritzville Art Gallery is located at 109 West Main Avenue in downtown Ritzville. For more information, call 659-1936 or email [email protected].
