Tena Marie Stromberger

Tena Marie (Strieff) Stromberger died at the age of 55 at her home on the ranch in Ritzville on the morning of Feb. 13, with her soul mate, Roger Helm, at her side.

She was born on March 16, 1957, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Spokane.

She met Dennis G. Miller in high school and they married on June 8, 1973.

On Feb. 6, 1977, she gave birth to a son, Justin A. Miller. Her second son, Seth G. Miller, was born on Aug. 3, 1978.

In the summer of 1984, she met Raymond A. Stromberger. They spent many years together and married on June 15, 1991.

She loved life. She was always smiling and had an open heart. She was at peace in nature, with animals and connecting with spirit. She found comfort in seeing the sunset, sharing a story with close friends and spending quality time with both her two boys and her grandchildren, Tate and Lincoln.

She was a hard working woman who helped so many people and always found the positive in every moment of life. She was a woman who lived by the quote “Well behaved woman, seldom make history.”

A celebration of life was held on Feb. 18 at the Cheney Rodeo Grounds.
