Awards honor leaders, chamber banquet raises $6,700

Community members gathered together to celebrate local leaders and support the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce (RACC) during the annual Community Recognition Night and Auction on Saturday, Feb. 9. The auction, held at the C.J. Newland American Legion Memorial Hall, serves as the primary fundraising event for the RACC.

With decorations and a catered meal based around the East Meets West theme, those in attendance helped raise $6,728 to support the RACC through the live and silent auctions. The total funds raised during the evening also include proceeds from the wine raffle and sumo wrestler...
