Fisher shares art talent with Ritzville

Artist Tina Lee Fisher presented at the January AAUW program held at Casuela’s Grill on Jan. 9 and is preparing to unveil her first painting in Ritzville later this month. Fisher focuses on paintings that pay special attention to memories, and displayed farm and home scenes from the 30’s in several paintings at the meeting. 

For Fisher, being an artist is a family trait, as both her mother and grandmother were artists. Fisher shared her passion for painting with those in attendance by presenting them with a scene painted on a note card.

Recently, Fisher completed the mural at the H.E. Gritman Senior Center in Ritzville, with additional scenes to be added later. The mural titled “Memory Lanes” will be dedicated Friday, Jan. 25, at an open house ceremony from 1-6 p.m.
