Carol Marie Rasmussen

Carol Marie (Snyder) Rasmussen died on Nov. 28, and went to join her Heavenly Father.

She was born Sept. 18, 1952, and had many fond memories of growing up on the “family farm” just outside of Eatonville, Wash. She spent most of her life calling Eatonville home, where she graduated in 1971 from EHS.  

Eatonville became home to the Rasmussen family as they raised their five boys. She spent much of her time being involved in the lives of her boys many activities and could always be found on the sidelines cheering on her kids.  She also found great joy and passion in serving in her church.  She spent the last few years living in Ritzville, where she enjoyed being involved in the local Victorian Society.  She was an incredible loving mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter, dedicated to her boys, and is truly loved and will be greatly missed.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ayleen Snyder. 

She is survived by her five sons and their families; Allen Rasmussen of Bremerton, David M. (Tina) Rasmussen of Nebraska, Robert (Amy) Rasmussen of North Dakota, Timothy (Nikki) Rasmussen of Texas, Scott (Amber) Rasmussen of Montana; 14 grandchildren, Dylan, Madison, Brianna, Teagan, Leah, Ethan, Autumn, Malachi, Elijah, Israel, Emmalee, Makenzie, Ellie, Ayla; sisters, Donna Snyder of Renton and Jimeen (Mitch) Sauget of Seattle.  

A memorial service is to be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, at Living Word Assembly of God in Eatonville, Wash. An online guestbook is available at http://www.tuellmckee.com.
