New leadership launches Lind Fun Fair this Friday

With a new leadership team in place, the Lind Fun Fair returns to the Lind Elementary School on Friday, Nov. 2, from 6-8 p.m. All proceeds from the event go back to the school to directly benefit the students.

The booths at this year’s event are a marshmallow shoot, jewelry engraving, spin art puzzles, photo booth, Minute to Win It, fishing pond, dice roll, dance-off, cookie station, bottle toss, balloon darts, penny toss, cake walk, surprise wall, raffle table, sucker tree, potty toss, pumpkin race, nail painting and hair color spray.

Those in attendance also have the opportunity to enter a raffle competition for a variety of prize baskets, including a spa, sports or movie basket. Individuals can purchase a raffle ticket for $1 and choose the item the ticket goes toward.

The new group spearheading the traditional event is Karissa Labes, Kindra Haase, Marie Borth, Breanne Williamson, Suzette Ellis, Samantha Crow, Jennifer Anderson and Christy McLellan, following the leadership of Calah Kulm.
