Holiday bazaar only a month away

Ritzville’s annual Holiday Bazaar, sponsored by the American Association of University Women (AAUW), is quickly approaching. The bazaar is held in the Ritzville Grade School gymnasium on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Chairperson Sherie Schafer, expects 40-50 vendors from all over Eastern Washington to be in attendance.

A variety of gifts, decorative items, food items, Santa Claus photos and a lunchtime meal are available at the event. AAUW members are also selling Scholastic children’s books and themed baskets during the bazaar.

AAUW uses the funds raised from the baskets and the bazaar for women’s scholarships, both locally and nationally.

The Ritzville Grade School is located at 601 South Chelan Street. Vendors may still register by contacting Schafer at 659-1424.
