HEALTHY HARVEST

This ORCF-102 soft white winter wheat variety stood tall in Brett and Dan Blankenship’s field outside of Washtucna last week, and provided an above average yield for Blankenship Brothers Joint Ventures. The majority of Adams County farmers have completed the 2012 wheat harvest, but a few farmers could still be found finishing harvest this week. –Journal photo by Katelin Davidson
