Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887

Based on merit, Flyckt wins

I urge you to vote for Randy Flyckt for Superior Court Judge. I had the privilege of serving as Mr. Flyckt’s Chief Deputy Prosecutor for over four and a half years, between 2006 and 2010. Not only is Randy Flyckt the finest prosecutor I ever worked for, he is one of the most extraordinarily talented men I have ever met, and I would stake my life on Randy Flyckt being not just a good judge but a great one.

Randy Flyckt has a keen analytical mind and can dissect legal issues as well as any appellate judge. He is also an excellent negotiator and trial strategist. But most important is his character. The judicial virtues of integrity, fairness, concern for community values, and commitment to even-handed justice are part of the man’s genetic makeup. I have seen Randy Flyckt make mistakes, but I have never seen him walk away from a tough moral decision or do anything not in keeping with the highest ethical standards.

Moreover, unlike his opponent, Randy Flyckt is a dedicated public servant who has served the people of Adams County almost his entire career. When Randy Flyckt was first elected Adams County Prosecutor in 2002, the office he inherited was in shambles. Randy Flyckt whipped the Prosecutor’s Office into shape, streamlined procedures, hired better deputies, and reached out other agencies to improve the administration of justice. As a result, the Prosecutor’s Office and Adams County’s criminal justice system is stronger today than ever before.

As Superior Court Judge, Randy Flyckt will continue to serve Adams County’s best interests. When you vote, please base your decision not on who knows the most out-of-county attorneys or who got the biggest personal injury checks for his clients. Base it on merit. If you do, you’ll vote for Randy Flyckt.
