Washtucna plans Fourth of July event

An old-fashioned Fourth of July party is being hosted in Basset Park in Washtucna on Wednesday, July 4. The event begins with the Kiddie Parade at 11 a.m., immediately followed by a flag raising ceremony.

At noon, a potluck begins at the park and the Washtucna Lions Club is providing the beverages.

From 1-5 p.m., free open swim is being provided at the local pool. A horseshoe tournament begins at 1:30 p.m. followed by Lions Club bingo in the park at 2 p.m....
