LRS tennis athletes perform at state

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague tennis team took three athletes to compete at the Yakima Tennis Club on May 26. Competing at the state level was Tracy Melville as the girl’s No. 1 singles player, and Kelly Melville and Chelsey Heidenreich as the No. 1 girl’s doubles team.

T. Melville found herself matched up against Shaylyn Goodall from Omak. T. Melville lost the first round competition with a final score of 6-1, 7-5.
