Violet Kembel

Violet I. Kembel passed away at the age of 91 on May 26 in Ritzville.

She was a lifetime resident born to Conrad and Mabel (Bauer) Schafer on July 9, 1920, in Ritzville.

She was one of 14 children. She attended Ritzville schools, graduating in 1939.

On January 22, 1942, she married Daniel M. Kembel. Together, they had one son, Dennis, who lives and farms in Ritzville with his wife, Marian. She was a member of Ritzville Assembly of God and New Hope Church in Ritzville. After farming with her husband Daniel, she moved to town where she has lived for the last 14 years.
