Locals run the streets of Spokane for Bloomsday

An estimated 79 individuals from the local communities took to the streets in Spokane to compete in the 36th annual Bloomsday Run on Sunday, May 6. An overwhelming 47,841 individuals competed in the race.

The youngest local competitor was one-year-old Claire Borth from Ritzville. The fastest time recorded from the communities was made by Dustin Kommes, a junior at Ritzville High School, finishing under an hour with a time of 57.52.
