Stamper, Fleming turn in top track efforts for Tigercats

The St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse-Washtucna track team competed in the District 9 1B/2B at Pullman High School on April 19.

Darcy Stamper continued to lead the boys’ team with two first-place finishes and a second place finish in the 4x100-meter relay. Annie Fleming helped all three of the relay teams finish in first or second place at the meet.

The girl’s team finished first overall at the event with a total of 160 points. The boy’s team finished in third place, with 52 points.

The SJELW track and field team traveled to Coeur D’Alene on Saturday, April 21 to compete in the CDA Invitational. The girls’ team finished in eighth place with 35 points and the boys’ team finished in 11th with 15 points.
