Trap shooting team places second

The Ritzville FFA Trap Shooting Team placed second in the Washington State FFA Invitational State Trap Shoot. The trap shoot took place at the Wenatchee Gun Club at East Wenatchee on Saturday, April 21.

There were 44 teams and over 200 shooters who competed. The Ritzville Team No. 1 consisted of one junior and four eighth grade students.

Ritzville Team No. 1 included Jacob Anderson, Andrew Witt, Joel Anderson, Ryan Frederick and Skyler Oestriech.

Witt finished as the second high individual for the entire contest with Ja. Anderson finished fifth overall, Johnny Carson was 18th and Anderson was 19th overall.

Team No. 2 members included Carson, Haley Oestreich, Taylor White and Tyler Greenwalt.

The Omak team won the event with a total of 268 points, Ritzville finished second with 261 points and Moses Lake rounded out the top finishes with 258 points.
