LRS golf tees off

The LRS golf team started its regular season Monday with a home match in foul weather conditions. Logan Morley was bundled up to beat the cold and rain as he fought his way out of a sand trap. Colfax boys won with a team score of 218. LRS finished second at 257. Colby Starring tied for medalist with a 42. Morley was second at 49, as was Drew Hartz. The rest of the LRS boys scores were: Jacob Anderson,59; Tyler O’Brien, 58; Brian Campbell, 59; Trevor Jantz, 53; and Brandon Chapman, 60. Amanda Yockey shot a 58 and was the girls’ medalist. Kristine Lamping shot a 60 and Heather Hennings had a 70.
