Reforms, budget aren't top priorities for Democrats

Wednesday brought one of the most anticipated events of each session: Dairy Day, when dairy princesses from around our state come to the Capitol and hand out ice cream treats as a tasty reminder of how the dairy industry is such a vital part of our agricultural economy.

Unfortunately, I missed out because I spent the lunch hour speaking to a group of city officials, including some from the 9th District. I’ll have to plan better next year!
