Turkey Trot returns Thursday

The starting time of 8:30 a.m. Thanksgiving morning never seems to change for the annual Turkey Trot where community members and guests gather outside The New Ritz Theatre on Main Avenue to walk, trot, stroll or jog the Ritzville Walking Path.

The path makes a loop of just more than two miles. This event, originated by members of the Ritzville School District’s wellness committee, now has a life of its own.

Show up, meet your neighbors and friends in a walk for the good health of the day. Prizes will be awarded in a wide variety of categories....
