Lind Community Church to host annual election soup supper

The Lind Community Church, with help from friends of the church, will host its Election Day Soup Supper on Tuesday, Nov. 8, in the church fellowship hall. Sponsoring the event is the Women’s Fellowship group.

The supper will feature five homemade soups: clam chowder, cheesy broccoli, chicken noodle, taco and southwest chicken.

The menu will also include coleslaw, bread, a beverage and a variety of pies to choose from.

The meal is $7 for adults and $3 for children six years of age and under and open to all members and friends of the community.

Serving time is from 5 to 7 p.m.

The auction begins at 6:30 p.m with Warren Kragt and Grant Miller serving as auctioneers.

One popular item to be sold again this year is a quilt made by Lenora Sackmann.

Along with a variety of donated items, there will be drawings for door prizes throughout the auction time.
