Busy weekend for city’s ambassadors

Ritzville Distinguished Young Woman finalist

On Saturday, Sept. 3, Ritzville hosted the annual parade. The Distinguished Young Women were happy about the good turnout of floats and royalty this year. They made gift baskets with donations from local businesses for them, which were greatly appreciated.

The girls and festival association ran hospitality for the people participating in the parade before and the annual gun club barbecue served the visiting royalty and community after the parade. Some of the visiting girls enjoyed the festivities at the local fair after the parade.
