Primary election ballots arrive this week

Ballots for the 2011 Primary Election were mailed to voters in participating precincts this Wednesday, July 27.

This year’s primary election does not include all voting precincts in Adams County. Due to the fact that not more than two persons filed for any office, no candidates will appear on the primary election ballot.

Only three districts are holding elections: Adams County Park and Recreation District 2 (Washtucna), ACPRD 3 (Lind), ACPRD 4 (Ritzville) and Adams County Cemetery District 1 (Washtucna).

No ballots will be mailed out in the Othello area.
