  • Community unites to raise $10,000 for Sipe

    The benefit dinner held at the Eagles Saturday, May 30, for local resident Joanne “JoJo” Sipe, helped raise over $10,000 for the mother of two, battling her second round of cancer. The event brought community members together to support one of their own, and the purchase of meal tickets alone raised $500.     Monday, June 8, beloved husband, father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather David A. Davis died. He was born May 17, 1920 in Wilson Creek, to Albert Bradley Charles Davis and Oma Gilman Davis. He passed in his sleep in Des Moines, Washington after a short stay in a rehabilitation facility before joining his bride of 71 years Betty at Auburn Meadows Senior Living.
