    The Eastern Washington University Dean’s List for the Winter 2014 quarter has been announced, with 12 local students making the list. An undergraduate student who earns 12 quality hours (QHRS) and receives a grade point average of 3.5 or better is placed on the Dean’s List for the quarter.     Andy and Amy (Gordon) Wellsandt are pleased to announce the arrival of their first child, Tyler (Ty) Jonathan Wellsandt. He was born on March 24 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. At birth, Ty weighed 9 pounds, 3 ounces and measured 22.5 inches in length. Maternal grandparents are Jon and Arlene Gordon of LaCrosse.     Dustan and Renee Arlt of Ritzville welcomed Adalyn Jayde Arlt on May 16 at Moses Lake Samaritan Hospital. At birth, Adalyn weighed seven points, five ounces and measured 19.75 inches in length. Adalyn joins two-year-old sister Brielle. Paternal grandparents are Tom and Mary Arlt of Ritzville. Maternal grandparents are Rodney Kramer, Sr., and Shelley Kramer of Ritzville.   • Pasta for the Palouse fundraiser for plaque

    The Rimrock Grange is sponsoring Pasta for Palouse Spaghetti Feed on Sunday, April 27, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Rimrock Grange Hall. The meal is provided by donation, and all donations are collected at the door. The money raised at the event is for the purchase of a kiosk or a plaque to place at Palouse Falls, honoring the Washtucna School students who were instrumental in designating the falls as the state’s waterfall.
